Scene Around Town: Perot Museum and Dallas Symphony Orchestra League

As Society Editor for the Katy Trail Weekly I oversee the publication's Scene Around Town feature, which shines a spotlight on nonprofit and community events each week. In this week’s July 11 issue, I’m featuring scenes from the Perot Museum who recently celebrated the transformed 11,000-square-foot museum Moody Family Children's Museum opening with a First-Look preview that gave guests a glimpse of the reimagined space. Also featured were scenes from the Dallas Symphony Orchestra League who recently announced the 2026 Debutantes. Presentation Ball Co-Chairs Maggie Kipp and Kristin Hallam set the stage for an unforgettable debutantes season as a new crop of debutantes were introduced during a week-long series of events that included an announcement party, a Deb and Honor Guard Family dinner, a couture gown showcase hosted by Stanley Korshak, and a gown presentation at Neiman Marcus Downtown.
