Scene Around Town: Community Partners of Dallas and Dallas Art Fair

As Society Editor for the Katy Trail Weekly I oversee the publication's Scene Around Town feature, which shines a spotlight on nonprofit and community events each week. In this week’s May 9 issue, I’m featuring scenes from Community Partners of Dallas who recently celebrated its 19th annual Chick Lit Luncheon featuring a conversation with NBC5’s Laura Harris and award-winning anchor and journalist, New York Times best-selling author, podcast host and adoptive mother Hoda Kotb. Also highlighted were images from the 17th annual Dallas Art Fair which kicked off with a VIP Preview on April 10 at Fashion Industry Gallery (f.i.g.) in the Dallas Arts District. Curated exhibitions and programming encouraged lively conversations around the arts community.
