Scene Around Town: Junior League of Dallas and Texas Women’s Foundation

As Society Editor for the Katy Trail Weekly I oversee the publication's Scene Around Town feature, which shines a spotlight on nonprofit and community events each week. In this week’s September 19 issue, I’m featuring scenes from the Junior League of Dallas who recently held its annual Donor Cocktail Party at Lounge 31 in Highland Park Village. Sponsors, donors, and JLD members mingled and enjoyed cocktails and hors d’oeuvres to celebrate the success of the past year. Also featured were highlights from Texas Women’s Foundation who recently hosted a powerful day of leadership, learning and inspiration honoring trailblazing women and rising young leaders. The day helped support the Foundation’s mission of building #StrongWomenBetterTexas.
