Scene Around Town: KidLinks and Hope Cottage

As Society Editor for the Katy Trail Weekly I oversee the publication's Scene Around Town feature, which shines a spotlight on nonprofit and community events each week. In this week’s March 15 issue, I was pleased to share highlights from KidLinks 14th Annual Symphony of Chefs event. This year’s ultimate chef-driven culinary dinner experience benefited KidLinks. Over 20 of Dallas’ most notable chefs prepared a unique four-course dinner tableside for guests with wine pairings from some of the world’s best vineyards. Also featured were scenes from Hope Cottage, a North Texas nonprofit with a 106-year history, who recently opened a new maternal medical clinic in East Dallas to provide affordable, comprehensive healthcare for underserved pregnant women.
