Scene Around Town: Preservation Park Cities and Stanley Korshak

As Society Editor for the Katy Trail Weekly I oversee the publication's Scene Around Town feature, which shines a spotlight on nonprofit and community events each week. In this week’s March 22 issue, I was pleased to share highlights from Preservation Park Cities. This organization works to preserve and promote the history, architecture, aesthetics, and cultural traditions of the Park Cities. To that end, the 2023 Fall Membership Meeting gave a delightful insight on landscape architecture from Bill Bibb and Brian McDonald, founders of DFW landscape architecture firm Archiverde. Also featured were scene from Stanley Korshak who recently welcomed fashion designer Peter Cohen to the store for a personal appearance, trunk show and fashion presentation. Attendees shopped the latest designs from this Los Angeles designer who combines sophisticated design with a practical, pared-down sensibility.
