Scene Around Town: Bryan's House and Orchid Giving Circle

As Society Editor for the Katy Trail Weekly I oversee the publication's Scene Around Town feature, which shines a spotlight on nonprofit and community events each week. In this week’s January 26 issue, I was pleased to spotlight photos featuring highlights from the Orchid Giving Circle at Texas Women’s Foundation who celebrated the distribution of a record $376,688 in grants to 24 nonprofit organizations that serve the North Texas Asian community. Also highlighted were scenes from Bryan’s House Power of You 2023 Awards Luncheon who celebrated its 35th year by shining the spotlight on an emotional and charismatic Mickey Rowe.
